A homeowner in Wilmington, DE, was dealing with persistent water seepage in their basement, particularly during heavy rainfall, which led to damp conditions and growing concerns about potential moisture damage and mold growth.
After reaching out to Quality 1st Basement Systems, our team installed a dynamic waterproofing solution tailored to their needs. This included our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, designed to capture and redirect water away from the foundation, and CleanSpace Wall Panels, which act as a moisture barrier while brightening the space. To ensure reliable water discharge during colder months, we also installed our IceGuard Discharge Line, preventing freezing and ensuring smooth water flow year-round.
Together, these systems effectively eliminated the water intrusion, restoring the basement to a dry, healthy, and pleasant environment the homeowner could now enjoy with complete confidence!
This customer had a dirt floor crawlspace that she wanted to waterproof and encapsulate. We started this installation by removing debris and regrading the ground to redirect water towards the sump pump system. Next, we installed a crawlspace drainage system and added an IceGuard to the drainage line for extra protection from flooding during the cold seasons. Then we encapsulated the crawlspace using our CleanSpace vapor barrier.
Customer reached out looking to replace his 2 basement windows and leaky, rusting wells. We upgraded this customer to our EverLast Windows and Sunhouse wells with well covers. Our SunHouse wells will never rust or rot and are bright which means they will reflect a lot of natural light in to your basement.
This owner was about to sell the home and was in need of a waterproofing system in the crawl space. To prevent any crawl space leaks, we installed our SmartSump pump system with liner, CleanPump stand and an airtight lid. Our SmartSump is designed for crawl spaces, which collects water from evaporating into the space and has a built-in alarm to prevent any type of plumbing problem.
This customer had lived in her 80-year-old home for 20 years. Her basement periodically got wet during heavy rains, but during one particularly bad storm, so much water poured in that after a short time, it was high enough to cover her ankles. Our inspector went out and found that only one wall was leaking, so the installation of 20 feet of WaterGuard was enough to keep the water from coming in. This basement had no sump pump, so we needed to install one. Not wanting to ever experience another flooded basement, our customer had us install a TripleSafe Sump System with battery backup. As the name implies, the Triple Safe has three pumps. Pump 1 does the majority of the pumping. Pump 2 kicks in if Pump 1 is unable to keep up during a severe storm, and Pump 3 is the UltraSump Battery Back-up system. If you lose power, the UltraSump’s 120 amp power pack, when fully charged, can pump a total of 12,000 gallons of water, at 2,018 gallons per hour. Barring a severe storm that leaves you without power for more than a few days, the UltraSump should get you through until power is restored and the battery can begin to charge again.
