In this basement, owners were experiencing wall leakage and needed to find a solution to fix the foundation walls without damaging them. Our team went out to the property to assess and then installed 5 of our CarbonArmor Straps that are used to stabilize and reinforce the walls. This system uses epoxy with the fiber straps that are 10x stronger than steel and balance the cracks. If not corrected, the foundation cracks can cause an even more serious problem and will worsen over time.
After struggling with persistent water intrusion in their basement for months, a frustrated homeowner from Wilmington, DE, reached out to Quality 1st for a lasting solution. Despite previous attempts to manage the issue, the water continued to seep in, creating a damp, unhealthy environment.
Our team quickly assessed the situation and recommended a dynamic solution, including the installation of our patented TrenchDrain, SuperSump Premier Sump Pump, and IceGuard Discharge Line System. This customer had a dirt floor crawlspace that she wanted to waterproof and encapsulate. We started this installation by removing debris and regrading the ground to redirect water towards the sump pump system. Next, we installed a crawlspace drainage system and added an IceGuard to the drainage line for extra protection from flooding during the cold seasons. Then we encapsulated the crawlspace using our CleanSpace vapor barrier.
