This homeowner living in Washington Township, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after seeing our concrete lifting and leveling advertisement in the TheHomeMag. System Design Specialist, Mike Jersey, inspected the walkway and reassured the homeowner that each sinking slab would be lifted back to level with PolyLevel, removing the tripping hazard they had outside their home.
PolyLevel is a foam that is injected into a sinking slab of concrete, once underneath the foam begins to expand and harden raising it back to its original state.
Over time, concrete sinks and settling due to the soil beneath no longer being able to support the heavy concrete. Trip hazards form which can cause serious injury if not careful. Sinking concrete not only hurts the value of the home but also brings a safety concern. Replacing the concrete is a temporary fix and leaves you with miss matched concrete.
PolyLevel raises the sinking slab back to level without causing disturbance to the surrounding area. This polyurethane foam is environmentally friendly and waterproof and therefore will not deteriorate over time. This concrete leveling will stabilize the the concrete permanently to prevent future settlement.
After years of wear and shifting soil beneath their home, this homeowner from Long Valley, NJ began noticing multiple cracks forming across their concrete driveway. Some sections were uneven, and water had started pooling in low spots, a combination that made the driveway not only unsightly but a potential hazard. Wanting a lasting fix without the mess of replacing the entire slab, the homeowner turned to PolyLevel and NexusPro.
Quality 1st Basements lifted the sunken sections of the driveway using PolyLevel, an expanding foam that stabilizes and raises the concrete from below. Once the surface was even again, they sealed the cracks and joints with NexusPro, a durable, flexible sealant designed to withstand harsh weather and UV exposure. The result was a smooth, level driveway that looks almost like new, and one that will stay that way for years to come.
