The foundation of this East Hanover, NJ home was experiencing foundation settlement. The settlement was causing sagging in the home and bowing basement walls. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CarbonArmor straps to the basement walls to stabilize the foundation. The walls will no longer move, and this foundation is now safe!

This Spotswood, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after discovering water seeping into their basement. Our System Design Specialist, Randy Halal inspected the area and discovered the basement was undergoing foundation issues along with water issues. He discovered the walls were cracks and bowing inwards, allowing water to seep into the basement when it rained. 

Steven then recommended the best solution would be install our Triple Safe Sump Pump, to pump out the unwanted water, and PowerBrace System by Supportworks, to help stabilize the home. In addition, Steven also recommended our CleanSpace Barrier should be installed to prevent any dampness and humidity from forming.

The owner of this home in Towaco, NJ noticed that the foundation was sinking at one of the back corners near the garage. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed push piers to the exterior of the home to lift the home back into its original position. The push piers were driven deep into the soil and transfers the weight of the home through the piers to the competent soil below. This Towaco home is now permanently stabilized.
