The owner of this restaurant in Elkton, MD reached out to our company looking for help for his wet basement. For as long as his restaurant has been open, he has been getting water in the basement and since the basement always collects water, he could not utilize this large space for much needed storage.
After sending our inspector out to assess this basement, he came up with the best solution to not only keep it dry during rainy weather, but to also make this large basement, a usable space.
This installation consisted of Waterguard and a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier around the full perimeter of the basement, two Triple Safe Sump Pumps with Ultra Sump Battery Back-ups and a Trench Drain. We also removed and hauled away most of the current concrete floor and poured a new concrete pad in its place.
This customer contacted us regarding water leaking in the basement when it rains. We installed our TrenchDrain Drainage Pipe System which is uniquely designed to span doorways, hatchway entrances, and similar entryway doors. Any water passing over the drain is collected through the openings and redirected to a sump pump. This product is flushed, up against the doorway and patched with fresh concrete.
This Elkton customer contacted us regarding an unfinished basement having water entering in the corner of the cement block foundation, which would increase during rain and snow melt. Our team installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement, which effectively captures wall and floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor. We finished up with our CleanSpace, which is a moisture and vapor barrier that forces wall seepage to flow into the drain system that is around the perimeter.
This was a newer build home with an unfinished basement that the customer wanted to turn into a multi-purpose space. Our company came out and completed a full ceiling install, we installed our TBF Everlast Wall System and our Thermal Dry Floor Decking.
Our TBF Everlast Wall System is mold resistant and made up of nonorganic material that comes with a 50-year, Nationally backed warranty against water damage and mold growth. Our ThermalDry Floor Decking features our SilverGlo insulation which will make it 24% warmer than regular EPS foam board. This decking is also waterproof and will not get moldy or damaged by any water.
This homeowner wanted to create a living space in this unfinished basement. We were able to transform this unfinished space by installing our Elite Plank Flooring, which makes a dark, gloomy basement in a classic, bright living area. Our inorganic flooring looks like hardwood flooring but doesn't have effects of buckling, mold growth or wood rot. We offer multiple colors such as light pecan, dark walnut, gray and dark espresso. This Total Basement Finishing project also included a Linen drop ceiling enclosing all the electrical work and lights that have been installed.
