This Parkesburg, PA customer called in to our company with a vertical crack in his poured foundation wall. The customer stated the owner prior to him tried to fix the crack himself, but was not properly done. We sent one of our foundation experts out to this property to inspect and work up a free, no-obligation estimate. Once the proposal was reviewed, and our product and process were explained, the customer chose to move forward with the work he was quoted.
We sent our certified technician out to complete the FlexiSpan install on this poured foundation wall. Our FlexiSpan is a polyurethane polymer sealant that is warranted to permanently seal the crack, not allowing any water to leak through and to not crack due to any natural movement of the foundation wall.
For this basement remodel project, we installed our Basement to Beautiful Wall System, TBF Everlast Walls and Partition, we did Woodlock flooring, a Complete Ceiling and an 8' x 7' Arched opening with casement finishing.
After this repeat customer hired us for their basement waterproofing needs, they chose for us to restore their basement with our mold-resistant Total Basement Finishing (TBF) finished panels.
First, we removed the flooring around the perimeter as well as cut the wall to install our WaterGuard drainage system so that the basement would no longer leak. The customer wanted the ultimate protection for their beautiful basement, so they had us install our TripleSafe three-pump system, which includes a battery backup in the event of a power or pump failure.
Once the basement is no longer in danger from water seepage, we were able to put the basement back together again using our special inorganic wallboard called EverLast walls. These walls are guaranteed against water and mold damage.
The results are easy to see. After repairing the basement with the right materials, the basement is not only dry but is pleasing to the eye!
This customer had an existing sump pump but was looking to upgrade. We came out and installed a Super SumpPump with a Battery Backup.
This was a repeat customer of ours. We had previously installed a sump pump in the customer's basement, and then a few years later, water started to appear in a different section. After further investigation, it was apparent that there were small hairline cracks on the foundation wall that allowed water to enter the basement when it rained.
First, we had to take care of those hairline cracks, so we installed FlexiSpan. FlexiSpan seals cracks with a flexible urethane sealant that will stop water penetration. FlexiSpan is flexible and moves with the wall, which eliminates re-cracking on the wall.
