This driveway's concrete was experiencing soil erosion and because of that, voids formed and the slab started to sink into them. To fix this issue, we lifted the concrete with our polyurethane foam, PolyLevel. PolyLevel is injected beneath the slab and fills every void, while simultaneously lifting and stabilizing the concrete.
This customer has had foundation issues for years. She's worked with other companies to get it fixed, but all of the installed systems were failing. When your house has severe wall failure, your entire home is in danger and your family's safety. And that's what was happening here. This homeowner decided to choose Thrasher because we were the only ones able to give her an option that didn't require full foundation replacement. When we inspected the home, we found that her basement walls were in stage four of wall failure. The walls were bowing about 6 to 7 inches in some areas with severe shearing.
When walls are this bad, our best solution is our EverBrace system. It's a less disruptive system than foundation replacement but offers the support the home needs. Here's how it works: steel corrugated panels and beams work together to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls. Rigid foam is then injected to fill any voids behind the steel panels, fully transferring the load from the failing structure to the new support panels.
The homeowner was so happy with how everything went. But most importantly, she now feels safe in her home.

This homeowner was worried because water was flooding their basement when it had never done that previously. He knew that we would do the job and figure out why the sudden flooding problem began, so he decided to give us a call.
We sent Service Technician Tony Taylor to inspect what was happening in this basement. Tony found that water was pooling in the basement corner due to cracks in the walls and a hole that a plumber had accidentally drilled into the plumbing line.
After this conclusion, Tony determined that the walls were not at risk, as we had previously stabilized them; however, to prevent water from coming in, he needed to fully waterproof and repair the holes in the plumbing line and the walls. Tony and his team installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System in the corner that was flooding to prevent any sitting water in that corner. Then, they utilized a full-height CleanSpace Water Barrier along the walls to seal off the possibility of water seeping in from there. Finally, they moved the two exterior downspouts further away from the home to ensure that water would move away from the homeowner's basement.
With the help of a hired plumber to fix the hole in the plumbing line, the homeowner can now rest easy about his basement. He is very pleased to know that he can travel and not worry about coming home to a wet basement.
This customer was starting to experience some damage to his driveway due to water getting in between the joints and eroding the soil. To fix this, we filled the voids underneath the slabs with polylevel and then we sealed the joints with Sealent Pro to prevent water erosion in the future.
