Josh B. is a devoted homeowner in Elwood, NE, and was looking at selling the home soon, however, he felt the concrete needed to be repaired before doing so. Specific areas had settled and cracked creating potential tripping hazards and negatively impacting the overall curb appeal of the home. Josh has utilized Thrasher repairs before, and he didn’t hesitate to call for his concrete needs.
To begin the project, System Design Specialist Brandon Headrick arrived at the home in Elwood, NE to perform a thorough inspection of the concrete. Multiple areas had sunk and cracked due to soil washout from the lack of a concrete sealer. The most severe area was the front porch closest to the entryway of the home. To repair this, Josh opted to have Thrasher install our 2-part concrete protection system that consists of our PolyLevel and NexusPro products. PolyLevel is our concrete lifting foam that permanently lifts and levels the surface. It’s a lightweight and waterproof foam that withstands water and soil washout. Then, the NexusPro sealer was applied to all cracks and control joints to prevent any water from infiltrating in the future.
Josh couldn’t have been happier with our concrete repair solutions and his second Thrasher experience. We blew his expectations with our efficiency and dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Josh now has a restored peace of mind to move forward in the process of selling his home.
This homeowner was concerned about parts of his driveway sinking. He decided that it was time to lift it and fix it before he would need to rip it out and start over, so he gave us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Brandon Headrick to inspect the driveway and come up with a comprehensive solution to lift and protect this homeowner's concrete. Brandon noticed that the cause of the concrete sinking was water that was pooling in sports of the concrete and weakening the soil underneath it. Brandon and his team utilized our Concrete Protection System which includes PolyLevel Concrete Leveling, NexusPro Cracked Concrete Repair, and Sealant Pro Concrete Sealing.
The homeowner was so impressed with the project, that he wanted his whole driveway done in addition to the few problem spots. Check out his leveled driveway!
Paul's sidewalks around his home were settling, even though the concrete was only three years old. Not only did he not like the way it looked, but he was also concerned about water finding its way into his basement. He had heard good things about Thrasher, so he decided to give them a call. System Design Specialist, Nate Smith, went out to Paul's home to see what was going on with his concrete. Upon inspection, Nate found that Paul's sidewalks were settling towards the house, with some places settled over 3 inches.
To fix this, we decided to use PolyLevel to lift and level the settled concrete and then went in with NexusPro to seal the cracks. Paul was more than pleased with the final result and thought it would never look as good as it did in the end.
Frustrated with the appearance of their driveway, this McCook, NE homeowner gave Thrasher a call to see if there was a possible repair solution. They have been long-time Thrasher customers, weren’t aware that we also specialize in concrete. Our System Design Specialist Daniel Hilkmann arrived at the home and performed a thorough inspection of the concrete around the property.
The customers opted to have our team install the 2-part concrete protection system to permanently lift, level, and seal the concrete’s surface. Our PolyLevel concrete lifting foam is installed first beneath the slab to create a level surface. The NexusPro is then used to caulk all the cracks and control joints to waterproof the surface and prevent future damages.
The homeowner was thrilled with the outcome of our concrete repair solutions. With the price of concrete so high now, our concrete protection system relieved the customer and restored their peace of mind. We’re fortunate to have the opportunity to continue providing different services to homeowners like these.
Homeowner Ed S. was growing concerned about his concrete. He has been noticing that the stoop is settling and sinking away from his home. Looking for concrete raising solutions, he gave Thrasher a call.
Service Technician Andrew Davis went out to Ed’s home. He was able to identify that to stop the concrete from settling and moving away from the home, the cracks needed to be closed. We started with lifting the settled concrete with PolyLevel, bringing it back up to the original level. Then to close the joints and cracks, we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant. Ed was happy to know the concrete was taken care of and pleased with the quality of work from the crew.
