This homeowner was irritated that her garage entrance had a bump, her driveway was very cracked, and her front entrance was cracking and sinking. She was very unpleased with her situation, so after research, she liked the outcomes we had achieved in the past, so she gave us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Austin Ahlf to inspect the concrete problems and determine the likely cause. Austin found that the garage approach and the front steps had settled due to a void underneath the concrete caused by poorly compacted, dry soil. Austin talked to the homeowner and determined that the best solution would be to lift, level, and seal the concrete with our 2-Part Concrete Protection System. Our team began restoring the concrete by injecting PolyLevel foam to lift and level the driveway and stairs, then they sealed the concrete's cracks and joints with NexusPro sealant.
The homeowner was really happy with the results and she loves the way her house looks. Check out her stair lift!
Take a look at this incredible concrete transformation in Bel Aire, KS. The sidewalk going up to the house was breaking and was unlevel, creating a very dangerous situation. Our team lifted and leveled the broken concrete with PolyLevel and then sealed the joints with NexusPro. Now it looks like the concrete was never broken!
This homeowner's husband just moved into a nursing home and now she may be selling her home. She knows that in order to get the most money from the sale she should fix her garage, so that's exactly what we did for her. We lifted and leveled the concrete slabs with PolyLevel and then filled those cracks with NexusPro. Now this customer is one step closer to selling.
This homeowner's parents live with him and his concrete was cracking and settling in several places, creating tripping hazards. He felt it was necessary to fix this before had an accident as they don't get around too well. This settling was caused by water eroding the soil underneath the concrete over time. We fixed the problem by first expanding the gutter downspouts away from the concrete to divert water and help reduce the soil washout that was occurring. Next, we lifted and stabilized the concrete with PolyLevel foam and sealed all the joints with NexusPro to keep water from getting under the concrete through the joints.
Homeowner Diane K. was noticing concrete sinking at her Wichita, KS home. The concrete had sunk so much that water was starting to pool up next to the entrance of her home. She decided to call Thrasher because of our strong reputation for concrete repairs.
System Design Specialist Brent Randolph went out to her home. During the inspection, Brent was able to identify that the slab in front of the entrance and sunk and then two additional spots in the driveway had also sunk and cracked. The crew used PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. Then applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to close the cracks and joints. Diane was happy with how the concrete looked and thrilled not to have to worry about tripping again
