This customer has lived in his Blue Springs home for 20 years. He's a father of three boys that are all in the Army and wants to make his basement a liveable space again. The first step in that process is to take care of the water issues, starting with fixing the driveway. We used PolyLevel foam to lift and level the cement slabs, then we sealed all the joints and cracks using NexusPro, making sure that water won't damage the driveway.
About 7 years ago Elaine H. had her driveway mudjacked, she started to notice the same area that was mudjacked was starting to settle. After having a bad experience with a previous contractor, she was hesitant to bring another one out. Her neighbor had work done with us and recommend she give us a call.
System Design Specialist Ryan Galt went out to the home and was able to identify a solution. The joints in the driveway where to wide, which was allowing water to go under the slab and cause it to sink in the same spot that the mudjacking had occurred. We used PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal up the joins and life the concrete back up, so it was all smooth and level
Uneven, cracked concrete can make a significant impact on your home's curb appeal and value. Sinking concrete can cause liability issues as a serious falling hazard. PolyLevel was the perfect solution for these sinking steps, giving the customer a new safe place to walk.
This customer in Audubon, IA has been in the home since it was built and was planning on being there forever. Over the years he has noticed his steps starting to sink and crack as well as spots in his garage cracking. Wanting to keep his home in good condition and safe for him as he gets older, he decided to get these issues fixed.
Upon inspection, our crew noticed many spots around his home had begun to settle causing the cracks and settling of his steps. This was caused by the soil underneath his concrete slabs being washed out. The team decided the best solution for this problem was to use PolyLevel foam to fill the voids and bring the concrete back into its original place. This foam also compacts the soil around the slabs, creating a stable environment that will ensure the garage floor and other slabs remain level for years to come.
This family noticed that their driveway concrete slabs were sinking, cracking and getting worse. Beneath their driveway, water from rain and melting snow was gradually washing away the soil that supported the concrete slabs, allowing them to sink into voids and crack under its own weight. Fortunately the homeowners called Thrasher while the problem could still be repaired, and we injected Polylevel polyurethane foam beneath the slabs to lift, level and provide the necessary support. Now the homeowners have the peace of mind that comes from knowing their concrete won't be hurting their curb appeal.
