This homeowner's parents live with him and his concrete was cracking and settling in several places, creating tripping hazards. He felt it was necessary to fix this before had an accident as they don't get around too well. This settling was caused by water eroding the soil underneath the concrete over time. We fixed the problem by first expanding the gutter downspouts away from the concrete to divert water and help reduce the soil washout that was occurring. Next, we lifted and stabilized the concrete with PolyLevel foam and sealed all the joints with NexusPro to keep water from getting under the concrete through the joints.
This homeowner's husband just moved into a nursing home and now she may be selling her home. She knows that in order to get the most money from the sale she should fix her garage, so that's exactly what we did for her. We lifted and leveled the concrete slabs with PolyLevel and then filled those cracks with NexusPro. Now this customer is one step closer to selling.
Joyce K., a homeowner in Bel Aire, KS, has watched the concrete on her driveway and around her home continue to settle over the years. Water from downspouts has washed away the soil underneath the slabs causing it to sink and even crack in certain areas. Upset with its appearance and potential for a tripping hazard, she decided to do something about it. As a repeat customer, she has trust in Thrasher and is always impressed with our integrity, and reputation.
System Design Specialist, Jon Graves, arrived at the Bel Aire home to inspect the surrounding concrete. Joyce loved how we addressed all the concrete on the property and immediately felt the price was fair. From there, our team went to work in applying our full concrete protection service. In areas where the concrete had sunk, they installed our PolyLevel foam solution to permanently level the surface. In order to seal the cracks in the concrete, the team utilized our NexusPro silicone-based joint sealer to prevent moisture from seeping beneath in the future. Lastly, SealantPro concrete sealant was applied to protect the surface and extend its life for years to come.
Joyce couldn’t have been happier with the appearance of her newly leveled and sealed concrete. Aside from the physical appearance, she was pleased with our team’s politeness and efficiency throughout the project. She makes the right choice and continues to put her trust in our brand.
This homeowner just finished a project with us that involved waterproofing his basement. While there, our System Design Specialist Sheldon Sharp suggested that a primary cause of the water issues in the homeowners basement was from the settled concrete that had created a direct path for water straight to his basement. The homeowner was very happy about his newly waterproofed basement, and he wanted to preserve that, so he decided to also go ahead and fix the concrete sidewalk as well.
Sheldon and his team utilized PolyLevel to lift and level the sidewalk, then they utilized NexusPro to seal all of the joints and cracks.
Water sliding down the sidewalk and into this homeowner's home should no longer be a worry to him. The homeowner said that he loved the work and it looks amazing. He is very happy with the results and now he can just relax and enjoy his home.
This homeowner was irritated that her garage entrance had a bump, her driveway was very cracked, and her front entrance was cracking and sinking. She was very unpleased with her situation, so after research, she liked the outcomes we had achieved in the past, so she gave us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Austin Ahlf to inspect the concrete problems and determine the likely cause. Austin found that the garage approach and the front steps had settled due to a void underneath the concrete caused by poorly compacted, dry soil. Austin talked to the homeowner and determined that the best solution would be to lift, level, and seal the concrete with our 2-Part Concrete Protection System. Our team began restoring the concrete by injecting PolyLevel foam to lift and level the driveway and stairs, then they sealed the concrete's cracks and joints with NexusPro sealant.
The homeowner was really happy with the results and she loves the way her house looks. Check out her stair lift!
