This homeowner is starting to get a little older and was worried about the trip hazards that were in her walkway and driveway. She had seen the ads for Midwest on her TV and decided to give us a call. System Design Specialist, Elliot Christians, came out to meet with her. He did his full thorough inspection, and found there was washout of soil under the concrete that was causing the concrete to settle. He came back to the homeowner with these findings and a solution. Together, they decided the best solution for her concerns would be to use our 2 Part Concrete Protection System. This consists of Polylevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel is used to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete, and NexusPro is used to seal the joints and cracks. Both of these products are also waterproof, so it will help prevent any washout in the future! Check out the before and after of this project. This homeowner was upset because his driveway slap had sunken 2-3 inches even after it had been mudjacked in the past. The longer this problem was, the harder it was to drive in and out of his driveway. Frustrated by this problem, he decided to give us a call and see what solutions we could offer.

We sent System Design Specialist Nick Wessling to inspect the concrete and find the root cause of the sinking problem. Nick found that the soil underneath the concrete was eroding because a poorly designed downspout was directing rainwater under the concrete. After discussing this problem with the homeowner, the homeowner was impressed that Nick found the root cause of the issue, and he wanted to move forward using Midwest to solve his problem. Our team installed buried downspouts leading away from the concrete to prevent any further damage, then they used PolyLevel foam to lift the driveway slab back to its original position.

Not only was this unlevel sidewalk a safety hazard, but it also decreased the curb appeal of this customer's property. The homeowner knew they needed a quick and permanent solution. Using our PolyLevel foam, we lifted the sunken portions of the sidewalk, restoring its evenness and stability. To ensure it was long-lasting, we applied our top-of-the-line SealantPro concrete sealant. SealantPro protects the concrete with just one application, extending its lifespan by 3-5 times.

This homeowner was concerned about her cracked concrete because it was a tripping hazard. Using PolyLevel expanding foam we were able to lift and level the settled areas of the concrete. Now this sidewalk is no longer a tripping hazard. 

The customer's concrete driveway was settling more than 3 inches next to the house and caused a lot of issues both functionally and aesthetically. The failing concrete was causing the brick facade to begin falling. 

To fix this, we used PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete the full 3 inches, enough to put the facade back in place. This was then followed by Nexus pro to seal the joints and concrete for additional protection.
