When this homeowner sought our assistance due to concerns about their home's integrity and water infiltration, we quickly sprang into action. The issue was a sagging floor and a persistently leaking basement caused by foundation cracks.

By employing floor jacks, we not only stabilized the sagging floor but also restored it to its original level, erasing any signs of instability. This customer noticed an unpleasant smell in her basement and decided to give Midwest a call. She was worried about her cousin's health and wanted to protect their belongings from water damage in the basement. We found that there was too much moisture in the walls, causing the moldy and musty smell. To fix this, we installed a special material called Cleanspace on more than half of the walls. This material keeps water out and prevents mold from growing, making the basement dry and healthy.

This homeowner's daughter and grandson have been living in her basement. Recently, the family was having problems with water getting in the basement, as well as bad air quality, which lead to allergies. The homeowner was concerned about her grandson's allergies, so she decided to schedule her annual maintenance with us urgently. 

We sent Service Technician Austin Dermody to inspect the problem and come up with a solution that fits the homeowner's basement. He found that the high humidity along with poor circulation was causing the homeowner's grandson to have allergy problems indoors. Austin also discovered that the sump pump was 20 years old, and needed to be replaced. The homeowner was worried as the financial burden of replacing a sump pump was expensive, however with our help, we were able to finance her repairs so that her quality of life and her family's quality of life could improve. Austin and his team got to work on installing a new sump pump to ensure that water would leave the house and that the drainage was proper. They also replaced the humidifier in the home to ensure that the humidity was under control.

The homeowner was very happy with the way the project ended. She is excited for her family as her daughter and grandson can now have a high quality of life.
