Gary was having issues with his sidewalk sinking and exposing the from underneath his front porch. It was very frustrating trying to sell his home with a very ugly entrance to the home. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the sidewalk lifted and leveled once again. PolyLevel was injected under the concrete and properly lifted the sunken slab, stabilizing the area. Once the area was lifted, the from for the porch was no longer visible, making the entrance to Gary’s home appealing once again.

Before, uneven concrete slabs were making trash bin management difficult and posed water drainage issues. Utilizing our PolyLevel system, we precisely lifted and leveled the concrete, efficiently correcting the imbalance. Then, with our NexusPro Joint Sealant, we sealed the cracks to prevent further soil erosion and water intrusion. As shown in the after photo, these methods provide lasting stability and improved functionality. 

Over time, the ground and soil under concrete begins to shift and settle, leaving large voids. When voids are present, the concrete sinks and cracks due to lack of support. When this happens around concrete pool decks, it possesses safety hazards for those who access the pool. Injecting PolyLevel is the best solution to reduce the tripping hazards without damaging the pool itself. The lightweight material is less than 4lbs per cubic foot, reducing the stress that normal mudjacking (120lbs/cf) would place on the pool and existing soil. After the voids are filled, the concrete lifts and levels, reducing the tripping hazards, and becomes stable once again.
