Homeowner Brian has lived in his home since it was built in 1999. Ver the last few years, he started to notice that his driveway and sidewalks were failing and sinking. He contacted MidAmerica Basement System wanting to learn more about our PolyLevel technology. He was looking to sell his home and wanted to make sure the value and quality of his home was at its best. The PolyLevel can be used on any concrete slab. The PolyFoam fills the void under the slab and then while it is expanding it lifts the slab back to its previous place.
Design specialist, Bryan of MidAmerica Basement Systems, was inspecting the walkway at George’s home in Manchester, IA, when Bryan observed the sloping stoop step. It was mentioned to George that with the injection technology of PolyLevel, polymers will precisely and effectively, lift and raise the sunken stoop step. Richard and his crew properly placed the injection holes to lift and raise the stoop. Now with level steps, George and his guests can safely enter and leave his home.
Debbie is a loyal costumer of MidAmerica Basement Systems who is returning to finish her basement. In the past, she had a water issue that caused her basement to flood and ruin her finished room. She had a waterproofing system and new EverLast Wall Restoration to fix her water problem and ruined walls. When Debbie was having her annual service appointment for her waterproofing system, she was offered ThermalDry Flooring to finish her basement floor. ThermalDry Flooring are snap-together, peg-raised floor tiles that provide a thermal break from the cold concrete floor that will not be damaged by moisture or large amounts of water. Because of the peg-raised system, moisture and water can flow underneath with ease. ThermalDry Flooring is completely made of inorganic materials, preventing any mold or mildew growth, leaving it the ideal flooring solution for the basement atmosphere.
Don was having issues with a section of his concrete patio sinking down towards his home’s foundation. When it rained water would pool, and eventually drain towards the foundation, posing threat to a leaking basement. He quickly reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have PolyLevel injected. During evaluation, the sloping section had measured at a large 2 inch drop. Crewmen Richard and David got to work to lift the sloping concrete patio with ease. The effectiveness of PolyLevel allowed for appropriate lifting in quick time, with effective stabilizing results. The once large, 2 inch drop is now level with the rest of the patio. NexusPro Joint Sealant was than applied along the crack between the patio and home’s foundation to divert any future water away from the foundation, protecting it from washing out the ground from under the slab, and helping prevent future basement leaks.
Doug and Jane contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems when they were having issues with their concert driveway sinking and cracking. Since 2012 their driveway has been getting worse. They once got advice about mud jacking but they were not impressed by the face that this was not a permanent solution. PolyLevel can be used to be used lift and level sidewalks and driveways. The PolyLevel fills the void under the sidewalk and then lifts the concrete.
