This Chillicothe, IL home recently underwent a renovation project. Included in that renovation project was a new radon mitigation system to ensure radon levels are below the recommended level. The premium radon mitigation system protects residents from toxic radon gas, the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.
John and Karen were concerned about the radon levels in their home, so they conducted a radon test. After receiving their results, their concern became a fear. They quickly contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the air quality improved. All cracks were sealed to provide an effective pull from under the concrete foundation, and a radon mitigation system was installed. Now the radon gas is withdrawn from under the home’s foundation, leaving the radon levels safer for John and Karen to breathe.
Amanda and Phillip were having issues with high levels of Radon in their home. During inspection from MidAmerica Basement Systems it was addressed that they needed to encapsulate their crawlspace in order to install an effective Radon Mitigation system. CleanSpace and a SuperSump were installed to offer a sealed crawlspace so Radon could be pulled out of the ground and out of the home. With the systems working together, Amanda and Phillip’s Radon levels were properly dealt with, making them decrease significantly.
