Frank M. of Peoria Heights, IL had his basement waterproofed by the local experts in all things basementy after he met with design specialist Fred Romane, who custom designed a basement waterproofing solution for his home. Foreman Bill Wilcox and his team installed the system comprised of WaterGuard, a SuperSump Sump Pump, a buried discharge line, IceGuard and a LawnScape Well.
Homeowner Kelli has lived in her home for the last 20 years and has had water in for basement for just as long. For the last two years she has thought about getting the problem fixed. The water in her basement was coming in from all over and she feared mold and potentially the quality of her home. When she contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems she was interested in learning about all of her waterproofing options. When she met with Design Specialist Dan Garner he explained that the best option for her home was a full perimeter waterproofing system and a new sump pump.
The waterproofing system includes a full perimeter WaterGuard system and a TripleSafe. The WaterGuard is used to channel the water out of your home. The TripleSafe sump pump is a three-pump system that comes with a battery back up and a WaterWatch alarm. The battery back up is used to keep the sump pump running in case of power loss. The WaterWatch alarm is placed in the top of the sump pump and is used to alert you in case the water in the pump get to high.
CleanSpace is used to help a crawlspace with moisture issues.
Betsy was becoming very upset, every time it rained, her basement would become wet even though she had a sump pump. She began questioning if the pump was working and reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her issue looked at. It was addressed that there was large leak from the foundation wall that was causing seepage and a wet basement. She was offered a CleanSpace Liner to help reduce the moisture and redirect the water down the wall and into a WaterGuard system. Once the water collected in the WaterGuard, it would then be redirected to the sump pump where it would be discharged instead of collecting and surfacing on her floor.
Emily had an older home with a limestone foundation. During heavy rains, water would seep in through the walls. She didn’t think there was a way to fix her leaking walls until her friend recommended MidAmerica Basement Systems. She was offered a CleanSpace Wall system to create a vapor barrier from the leaking walls. Water would then properly trickle down the wall and into a WaterGuard system to be redirected to a TripleSafe sump. Emily no longer finds visible water after it rains, in her basement.
