Originally, I had thought that replacing a block foundation wall was the only way to fix it once it started to move in. Doing it your way was 1/2 the price of replacing the basement wall. The plate on the wall do not stick out to far that you could put up a stud wall and drywall and not lose space in the basement. If I had known about Woods earlier, I would have done that work sooner and stopped worrying about that basement wall.
