Foreman Jeremy R installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Matthew and Linda’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to stable soil away from the house, and the other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls.

Bowing and cracking basement walls are a dangerous predicament. If left alone, it is quite possible that they could end up collapsing, causing tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage. A Woods Basement Systems team installed several GeoLock wall anchors, supports that work by connecting steel plates on the interior surface of the basement walls with heavy anchors buried deep down in the firm soil about 3 yards away from the home, to pull the walls outward over time and prevent further cracking. The plates are covered with optional shrouds for cosmetic purposes in this picture.

A foundation was cracking on the outside of a house in Chesterfield, MO, causing concern. To fix this, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed.
