O'Fallon, Missouri homeowners Mike and Shelly were experiencing a wet basement. They had worked with Woods Basement Systems before for cracks in their foundation walls. They knew just who to call and System Design Specialist Jeremy R. developed a plan to keep the basement dry.
Foreman Kevin J. and his crew installed the system, which has WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump replaced their current sump pump. It was a better option because the three pumps insure it is always dry. The primary pump works nearly constantly, the secondary pump is set higher in the tank than the primary pump. This allows it to kick on when the pump becomes overwhelmed. Since they are on separate discharge lines and circuits they work as if you had to sump pumps in the area. The third pump is a battery operated UltraSump. It will kick on when the water is way to high or when the power goes out.
The pump is airtight so the water cannot evaporate back into the basement air. It does have an opening to allow direct drainage in the case of a pipe breaking or flood. There is also alarms that go off if the water levels gets too high so you can check it before it floods.
Mike and Shelly now have a stable and dry basement they can enjoy.
This basement in O'Fallon, MO. had a sump pump, but the air was still damp and uncomfortable. Not only was technician John L. able to fix the damp air problem, but he could also upgrade their sump pump system.
Instead of a single sump pump expelling water through a single discharge line, John installed a TripleSafe™ sump pump with an additional discharge line. The TripleSafe™ system has a main pump that does most of the work, as well as a backup pump that can help out when water levels rise. On top of that is a third, battery-powered backup pump that can switch on when power goes out to keep water levels down.
In addition to the new pump, John added a Sedona dehumidifier. The Sedona will pull out up to 100 pints of water from the air a day and dump it into the sump pump so it can be removed from the home. The Sedona can also filter the air, removing things like mold spores that can cause smells and inflame alergies.
With the Sedona and a TripleSafe™ sump pump system, this home in O'Fallon, MO. will have dry, comfortable air and be safe from leaks even during power outages.
Kimberly and Joe of O'Fallon, Missouri needed their basement waterpoofed. For years, water had been entering their home anytime it would rain or storm, damaging their drywall, floors, and items that were stored in their basement. They finally decided to give Woods Basement Systems a call to see if they had a solution to their wet basement problem. One major problems with their basement was that the sump pump was broken and not working, so even when water was on the floor, it would not turn on to collect the water and send it out of the home. Our team installed a new sump pump, the TripleSafe system. TripleSafe includes three pumps in one sump liner one of the pumps included is a batter backup pump. This system will keep your basement dry no matter the weather or power situation.
A basement wall was leaking in O'Fallon, MO, causing concern for the homeowners. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!
