O'Fallon, Missouri residents Joan and Rick B. were troubled by water leaking into their basement where the floor meets the wall. The water seepage caused a concern for mold and damage.
System desing specialist Nolan M. designed a solution to keep the basement dry. Foreman Juan H. and his team installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects the water and guides it away from the basement. Joan and Rick can now enjoy their dry basement with no worries about mold and damage.
Steve C. had long cracks along the foundation walls of his basement. They were allowing water to get into the basement and he was worried they might be a sign of larger problems so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommeneded extending his waterproofing system and installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed along the cracked wall, as shown in the picture. Steel wall plates on the inside of the foundation wall connected to earth anchors by galvanized steel anchor rods counteract the pressure from soil on the outside of the wall. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors permanently stabilize the walls and can in most case straighten the walls by tightening the anchor rods during dry periods.
