The concrete flooring in this Wood River basement was suffering due to water damage, making it an unpleasant presentation of the basement. Our Woods team used WaterGuard™ to stop water damage in its tracks. This homeowner can live comfortably knowing that the basement is safe from water damage.

A basement in Wood River, IL, was leaking during heavy rain and needed to be addressed before concerns of mold emerged. This was distressing to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to encapsulate the walls of the basement. This highly durable liner will keep the humidity out. Next, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits horizontally on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Then, a sump pump was installed to discharge the collected water out of the basement. 

A sump pump was needing to be replaced in Virginia, IL, so the TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed. This system assures protection from common problems with an ordinary pump. The TripleSafe can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will now remain dry and restore peace of mind for years to come!

A Woods team installed several waterproofing products, including WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a gutter-like drainage system that is put underneath the floor at the base of the walls. This catches any and all leaks before they can make it into the space, keeping the basement totally dry.

South Roxana, Illinois homeowners Robert and Brenda had an area of their year that would not drain. They gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Luke B. developed a plan for them. 

Foreman Donald A. and his crew installed SillPlate Draintile and an exterior sump pump. The SillPlate Draintile is a system that is installed along the side of the home. We dig 12" down and install waterproofing along the edge of the home and bottom of the hole so all water must go into the draintile. Once in the draintile, the water is moved to a sump pump where it is pumped away from the home. 

Robert and Brenda can now work in their landscaping without flooding and know their foundation is safe as well.
