These homeowners were concerned about water pooling in their basement with nowhere to go. Design Specialist Thomas W. from Woods Basement Systems met with them and recommended the ideal solution to their problem.
Team Woods installed WaterGuard drains to remove the unwanted water. WaterGuard is installed under the floor clab for clog-free drainage with a minimal appearance to fit any basement.
This home in Granite City, IL had a sump pump system with two pipes to allow water to be pumped out of their home and away from their foundation.
To accomodate the water flow - and to keep it from just sinking back toward the basement - Corey S. installed a buried drainage pipe that would carry water from the pump away from the house and to a suitable location.
First, Corey dug up trenches to allow room for the drain pipes. He also installed IceGuard™ on the drain pipes so that water will continue to flow from the sump pumps and out of the home in the event of a clogged or frozen pipe.
Finally, the whole discharge line was burried to hide it from view. Now this home will be able to drain water away - even in the winter - and with no unsightly pipes above the ground.
WaterGuard drains were installed in this Granite City, Illinois basement to keep pesky water leaks out. This french drainage system is installed in the footing of the basement walls to collect and direct water leaks to move them towards the sump pump. From there the sump pump will pump the water leaks back outside where they belong. This album will show the condition of the basement before and after the new French drainage system was installed.
Juanita K. was worried about water coming in through cracks in her basement. To control the water issue, Woods installed the WaterGuard system. These pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it towards the TripleSafe Sump system, which was also installed to pump the water away. Juanita can now enjoy her dry, clean basement!
Water was leaking in a garage in Granite City, IL when it rained, so a TrenchDrain was installed. This will prevent water from entering the garage through the door, as it will catch and drain water safely away before it can reach the entrance. This garage will remain dry for years to come!
