Steve W., Winchester, Illinois resident, was concerned when he discovered water leaking into his basement where the floor meets the wall. System Design Specialist Chris T. inspected the basement and designed a waterproofing solution.

As part of the solution, Foreman Greg H. and his crew installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that collects and guides water away from the home. With this system, Steve's basement will stay dry.

Water and finished basements do not mix. Carolyn R. of Dupo, IL unfortunately found this out the hard way when water got into her basement during a heavy downpour. It soaked her carpet, leaving a mess that took hours to clean up and no amount of fans could dry out. She never wanted to deal with this problem again so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.

As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed on the perimeter of the basement, underneath the concrete floors of the basement which means floors can be finished over the system. It is situated on top of the footing of the basement so it's out of the way of mud that might clog it while it collects water from the foundation walls and wall joints and carries it away to the sump pump for removal.

A door to a crawlspace in Dupo, IL was failing, as it was rotting and letting outside air into the crawlspace. To solve these issues, the EverLast Crawlspace Door was installed. This will seal off outside air, so it doesn't enter the crawlspace. It will never need paint, rust, or rot, so it will do its part in keeping the crawlspace dry and restoring peace of mind for years to come!

A TripleSafe sump pump will restore this leaky home by replacing the old, outdated sump pump. The previous pump could handle the amount of water in the basement, but now with the TripleSafe sump pump, this sump pump will discard of all water leaks that may seep in!

Rachel A.'s Carrollton, IL basement was unprotected and vulnerable to unwanted water from entering. That is when she contacted Woods Basement Systems for the full waterproofing system.

Our team started by installing the CleanSpace liner along the walls of the basement to created a vapor barrier and prevent water from the outside from getting in. The smooth, clean liner also looks better than the leaky, exposed concrete. For additional protection, we also installed our DryTrak Baseboard Drain Pipe to direct any water that may somehow enter the basement into our TripleSafe sump pump.

With the work done by Woods Basement Systems' team members, Rachel A. now has a functional, dry basement she can use as she pleases.
