A basement in Saint Louis, MO, was prone to leaks during heavy rain and was in need of a strong waterproofing system to keep it dry all the time. This lead the homeowner to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits horizontally on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the collected water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their home will remain nice and dry thanks to this strong waterproofing system.
Air conditioners tend to get really cold when they are on for long periods of time especially during this time of year. hot warm air moving against your AC pipes in your basements allow for water drops to form and they begin to drip onto your walls and floor allowing water to build up and make new openings for other water to enter.
Bruce and Christa bought the WaterGuard system and the CleanSpace wall coverings to keep water from covering the floor of their basement. The BrightWall covering will keep all the water behind it and move it down to the WaterGuard drainage system connected to their SumpPump. This system and wall coverings will keep their basement dryer and looking clean and bright for weeks to come.
Dennis W. of Oakville, MO noticed water leaking into his finished basement. System Design Specialist Mike T. determined that a full perimeter waterproofing system complete with a sump pump would be the best solution for Dennis.
Foreman Mike P. and his crew discovered the best area to put the TripleSafe sump pump would be the laundry area as it was the lowest spot in the basement. The TripleSafe sump pump includes a primary and secondary pump as well as a battery backup pump in the case of primary pump failure. Now Dennis can enjoy his basement knowing it is protected from future water leaks.
