Charlene H. of Olivette, MO was having issues with water seeping into her basement through her windows. Woods Basement Systems installed our SunHouse Window Well to seal the outside of the window. This will prevent moisture from coming in through the window in the future.
Tonia R. of Olivette, MO had a major water problem. Water would leak into her basement every time it rained which caused rust stains on her walls and fostered mold growth so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.
As part of the waterproofing system. Woods installed BrightWall panels. BrightWall panels are made of rigid, white plastic that is resistant to mold and waterproof so it forms a vapor barrier over the foundation walls and directs moisture to the drainage system below. As seen in the picture, it also gives the basement a much brighter and cleaner appearance.
Water leaking into a basement can mean major clean up. Toni R. of Olivette, MO knew this all too well. Water would leak into her basement each time it rained, staining the walls and causing mold growth so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods found the best solution for her water problem would be a basement waterproofing system.
WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. As shown in the pictures, WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It is situated away from the “mud zone,” so it won’t get clogged as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and takes it to the sump pump for removal.
BrightWall, shown above, is paneling that is designed to direct water into the WaterGuard system to drain away leaks in your basement and also give it a finished look. This will help to keep the rest of your basement dry.
The exterior drainage pipe in Frank T.'s home in St. Louis was damaged and water leaked out from it and settled near the house, where it might seep back into the basement.
Dave P. was able to fix the break in the line and replace the damaged piping, as well as pump away the water that gathered there.
Now the water that gets pumped out of Frank's home will be safely transported away from the foundations of the home once again.
