Water was coming down the walls of a basement in Saint Louis, MO, and the sump pump was not removing this water properly. Sump pump failure can occur for several reasons.  Two common reasons cited for sump pump failure are mechanical failure and power outages.  A single pump system is only as good as the pump itself.  In this case, a single sump pump system just wasn't enough to keep this St. Louis basement dry.

Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.

Woods installed BrightWall panels as part of the waterproofing system. BrightWall panels are made of rigid white plastic that is resistant to mold and waterproof. They form a moisture barrier over the foundation walls, directing water down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. As seen in the pictures, they also give the basement a much cleaner and brighter appearance.
