Mark M. of Ballwin, Missouri noticed that water was entering his home's basement after a heavy rain shower. He did not want to have to clean up a mess after every big storm, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Jacob K. assessed the situation and came up with the perfect solution. Foreman Juan H. then headed to the home to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. It accepts water from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. The Waterguard then drains the water to the sump pump.
Mark M. no longer has to worry about his home's basement collecting water. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.
Brenda P. of Ballwin, MO contacted Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate on a sump pump due to excess water around the foundation of her home.
Specialist Nolan M. determined a TripleSafe sump pump with the IceGuard and an exterior discharge line would be the best solution.
Foreman Ryan L. and his crew installed the TripleSafe, equipped with a primary and secondary pump as well as a battery backup, in case of primary pump failure or power outage. They also installed an IceGuard providing an outlet for water should the discharge line ever clog or freeze.
Brenda's home is now triple protected with a sump pump.

Even a finished basement is susceptible to water damage. The hard-earned money you spent to finish your basement could go out the door once water leaks in.
WaterGuard drains were used to protect this finished basement from further water damage because these drains will collect the water leaks and send them to the sump pump. WaterGuards are installed in the footing of the basement walls to stop the leak in its tracks and get it out before it can create damage.
Cracking basement walls often result in water leaks. During periods of rain, the moisture in the soil is forced through the cracks and into the home, causing all sorts of damage. This Ballwin, Missouri couple was faced with this very problem. Woods Basement Systems installed WaterGuard drains, and CleanSpace wall encapsulation system, and a TripleSafe sump pump to keep the basement dry and give it a cleaner appearance. Just look at the difference!
