Our crew installed a complete Klaus Larsen Roofing System, starting with SealoronXT Deck Tape, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment, and SealoronXT Ice & Water in all vulnerable areas. For the finished look, we used IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Biscayne, which not only provide durability against storms but also complement the character of the dome perfectly. Brian in Charlestown, RI, was preparing to close on his new property in just two weeks, but before anything else could move forward, the roof had to be replaced. The existing roof had aged beyond repair and was no longer providing the protection a home along the coast really needs. Brian also planned to tackle window replacements and siding repairs in the near future, but the roof was the top priority to ensure the home was watertight and secure. Our team installed a complete Klaus Larsen Roofing System, starting with SealoronXT Deck Tape between the plywood boards to seal the seams while still allowing the wood to breathe. Over that, we laid VeloraONE Roof Underlayment for a strong, secondary barrier against leaks, and placed SealoronXT Ice & Water in the most vulnerable areas for maximum protection. To finish the system, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in Frostone Grey, giving the home a sharp new look and a durable roofing surface designed to stand up against storms. We also upgraded the home with a MO6 Fresh Air Deck Mounted Skylight, bringing in plenty of natural light while improving ventilation inside.
