John Silva in Warren, RI, recently had us back out to complete the next phase of his roofing project after we replaced a separate section of the roof last year. With that portion performing well, he was ready to move forward and finish the remaining front slope so the home could finally have a fully updated look.

This phase of the project focused specifically on the front section of the roof. Since there were no active leaks, chimney areas, or flashing concerns involved, the installation was very straightforward and allowed our crew to focus on replacing the aging roofing materials with a fresh new system.

We installed a complete roofing system using SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in vulnerable areas along with VeloraONE Roof Underlayment to help protect the roof deck from moisture and weather exposure. The project was finished with IKO shingles in Brownstone, giving the home a clean and consistent appearance that ties together with the previous work completed last year.

Now that the second section is complete, John is excited to finally have the roofing project fully finished and the home fully updated.

Mark in Portsmouth, RI, was ready to replace his 28-year-old asphalt shingle roof, which had started showing its age after years of New England weather. Our crew carefully removed the aging shingles on the other sections and inspected the deck underneath. Sean in Swansea, MA reached out after noticing issues along the ridge of his roof and wanted to make sure everything was properly secured and protected. The ridge area is one of the most important parts of the roof for ventilation and sealing, so addressing it was key to preventing future problems.

Our team removed the existing ridge sections on both the main home and garage, then installed a new ridge vent system to restore proper airflow. We finished the ridge with black ridge cap shingles to create a clean, sealed finish. In addition, we replaced the gutter apron along the front second-floor eaves. Because the home is exposed to strong winds, we secured the new apron using screws instead of nails to ensure a stronger, longer-lasting hold.

With these repairs completed, Sean’s roof is now better protected, properly ventilated, and built to withstand the tougher weather conditions in the area.
