With nearly three decades of exposure to New England weather, the shingles were well past their prime. He reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing for a full roof replacement over both his home and garage. Our crew completed a full strip of the old roofing materials and installed a brand-new Klaus Roofing System, topped with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Glacier. Lisa in Pomfret Center, CT, contacted us when she decided it was time to replace the roof on her home. After inspecting the existing roofing system, our team put together a plan to complete a full roof replacement on the main house and address a flat roof section that also needed to be replaced. We removed the old roofing materials, inspected the decking, and made sure everything was properly prepared before moving forward. To protect the home, we installed the SealoronXT Deck Tape, SealoronXT Ice & Water, and Velora One Underlayment, then finished the roof with IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black. The completed project gave Lisa a durable, updated roofing system built to protect her home for years to come.

This Canterbury cape style house had water leakage coming in from a dormer. When winter arrived, ice dams made the problem exponentially worse. During the roof replacement we installed a thermostat controlled solar fan. Unlike standard attic fans, the VentSure Exhaust Fan is roof-mounted and does not require extra electricity to function. Ventilation is crucial in preventing ice from freezing and melting on your home.

This log cabin style home in Canterbury, CT is very unique. Built in 1975, this single family home has a very interesting layout. It is a colonial and the roof is a gambrel, which is also referred to as a "Dutch Colonial" and looks like a barnyard roof. The owners were not experiencing any issues with the roof but knew that it was time to replace it. After tearing off two layers of existing roofing materials, the damaged plywood was replaced with all new decking. Three rows of  Ice & Water sheild was installed. The exisiting chimney flashing was removed and replaced. Brown aluminum drip edge/rake was installed along the entire, outside perimeter of the roof. Architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color of Terra Cotta, were installed which complimented this home very well!

This Dutch-Colonial barn was completely stripped of its existing roof and replaced with a brand new Klaus Larsen roofing system. We started the process by removing and replacing 2 layers of existing roofing materials and 52 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We went on to install 3 layers of Ice & Water barrier near roof eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed shingles in the color Estate Gray. The shingles include an Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Limited Warranty. This attractive barn is now complete with its new Klaus Larsen roof installment!
