Charles in Storrs, CT reached out to our roofing company for a full roof replacement after ongoing issues started showing inside the home. There was even a vine growing through the kitchen ceiling, which told us moisture had been getting in for some time.

We removed the old roofing system and replaced damaged sections of the deck, adding new plywood where needed to create a solid foundation. Over the kitchen plane, we installed full coverage of SealoronXT Ice & Water for extra protection. The rest of the roof was protected with SealoronXT Ice & Water in vulnerable areas, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the deck, and SealoronXT Deck Tape sealing the plywood seams underneath.

Charles chose IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black, giving the home a sharp, clean finish. We also installed one small section of EPDM outside the front upstairs window to properly seal and protect that area.

Before, this roof had active water intrusion and structural concerns. After the roof replacement, the home is sealed, secure, and built to handle the seasons ahead.

Here was a gorgeous Colonial home in Salem, CT. We installed our Roofing System, complete with new chimney flashing and aluminum gutters with guards and vent pipe boots. The fascia overhang was also revamped with PVC trim boards, which are fully recyclable and optimum for environmental health & sustainability when compared to wood and stucco. Finally, we installed a thermostat-controlled solar fan, so that the homeowner can keep a close eye on their attic temperature and how effectively it is being ventilated.

We began this project by tearing away and properly disposing of one layer of roofing material. We then inspected the roof decking, and replaced 3 damaged sheets of plywood decking. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Weatherwood colorway. We finished off the job by installing a ridge vent for attic ventilation, as well as a new vent pipe boot. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
