At this Dutch Colonial Revival home in Haddam, CT we completely replaced and restored this old 1930s roof. We installed new 1/2" CDX plywood decking over the existing structural framing to ensure sturdiness and protection for the home's interior. To protect this home from moisture and outside elements, we installed new Ice & Water from all the eaves, valleys, and around the chimneys, skylights, and roof/wall intersections.

Here was a colonial style house in South Windsor, CT that was in need of a total roof replacement. The ventilation system here was in good shape and was working properly, so we only needed to make some slight alterations at the dormer ridge vent near the garage.

Colonial Roof Replacement in South Windsor, CT

At this a 1999 colonial style home located in South Windsor, CT we completed a full roof replacement. We started by stripping the entire existing roof and replaced any damaged plywood decking with new plywood. Next, we protected the home from any outside moisture. We also installed ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment which is a durable tear-resistant material engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface. To top it off we installed a new Velux Skylight with "Clean, Safe, Quiet" glass.

At this mid-1980s colonial-style home located in South Windsor, we completely stripped and replaced the entire roofing system. The existing roof was over 30 years old and was in desperate need of a new roof. Often with age, you can start to see shingles start crumbling and deteriorating over time. To start, we tore off the existing shingles and replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. To prevent outside moisture from entering the home, we installed Ice & Water Shield. For shingles, architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color Slatestone Gray. To top it off we replaced the old chimney flashing with new copper flashing.
